White Otter Castle Jimmy McOuat hand built White Otter Castle in 1903, Jimmy was a lonely prospector who had lost all his fortunes in gambling. After that, visitors have been amazed at the abomination of the deed of one individual man, elevating three tonne logs of green timber four stories to make such a building. A 1.1 million dollar conservation project was completed to ensure that the castle remains for future generations to visit.
